TY - JOUR TI - Zum Nutzen von Diversität: Organisationen im Spannungsfeld von Werte-und Nutzenorientierung AB - This paper examines interpretations of diversity and equality from a comparative organizational perspective. The results of the analysis based on the documentary method reveal crucial areas of tension between value- and benefit-orientations in organizations that do not follow the distinction of for-profit and non-profit. Polarizing a priori classifications do not fulfil the complexity of organizational realities. Rather, a coexistence and linkage of business case and social justice diversity discourses become apparent. Both discourses are made relevant in very context-specific ways.
