TI  - At home and abroad: Internationalisation through buddy programmes
AB  - The preparation of exchange students prior to their arrival in their host cities and the help provided to them during the first days and weeks upon arrival is crucial. This session will discuss how to develop or improve a buddy programme to respond to these needs, including how to optimise the matching process between local and international students. The research conducted in the framework of the BuddySystem project will provide some useful insights.
