Abstract
Understanding a company’s impact on sustainable development, and finding ways to manage it best, is not an easy task. With so many tools available, choosing one to invest time in is even more difficult. GLOBAL VALUE tool showcases will make this task easier. The Forest Industry Carbon Assessment Tool (FICAT) is a tool for assessing the carbon footprint of forest-based products or projects over their lifetime. The carbon footprint is intended to give information on the impacts on climate change of products and production systems over their life cycle.
