Abstract
Students at Wirtschaftsuniversität Wien are intended to learn how communication can cause, but also solve conflicts. The application of various communication models suggests that empathy for the communication partner helps defuse difficult situations (like facing accusations and rudeness). However, experience has shown that students would rather react by "fighting or flighting". It is the aim of the seminar to present and discuss various tasks that help students try different reactions and experience their effect on their communication partners.
