Abstract
The presentation highlighted the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on business challenges for foreign multinationals in CEE. FDI inflows into CEE showed a weaker fall than those into EU in 2020. Labor and skill shortage, faster digitalization, extra EU funding, a stronger role of the state and a continued erosion of institution were identified as key developments in the region.
