Abstract (English)
The aim of this project is to understand and model consumer’s perception of quality in different CEE countries and the relationship to the screening decisions with focus on fresh produce supply chains. We will build an optimization model that additionally takes into consideration the screening parameters (time, cost, reliability) to demonstrate the benefits of the related screening process improvements in terms of cost, lead-time and food waste reduction.
