This major research project with a total budget of almost EUR 1 million distributed over five research partner organizations focused on establishing and assessing a nation-wide cybersecurity risk landscape. Our Research Institute for Information Management and Control in particular contributed by supplying knowledge in the area of identifying suitable cybersecurity metrics and controls, aggregating measurements and evaluating assessment instruments. In doing so, we stimulated engagement in terms of detecting, responding and recovering from cybersecurity incidents. This study was funded by the KIRAS Security Program of the National Austrian Research Promotion Agency (FFG) as part of the project CRISCROSS (No. 10652570).
