Abstract (German)
Over a period of two years, the project runs a series of interactive events to mobilise the participation of civil society and industry representatives as well as policy-makers in the areas of resource efficiency and sustainable raw materials use. By doing so, COBALT supports a favourable framework for the development of the European Innovation Partnership on 'Raw Materials' by increasing the awareness and societal acceptance, and tackles the problem of skill shortages in the area of critical and scarce raw materials as well as raw materials with high environmental and social impacts.
